MRS. MOOK DIES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Emma A. Mook, 90, 873 S. Tompkins Street, died at 9:15 a.m. today at Major Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been seriously ill three weeks.
Services will be Saturday at the Murphy Mortuary with the Rev. Paul Eger officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Born in Shelby county June 5, 1881, the daughter of Thomas E. and Mary E. (Gibson) Hendrickson, she was married to George A. Mook in 1902 and he died September 19, 1945.
Mrs. Mook formerly lived on Boggstown Road and moved to Shelbyville in 1943. She was a member of a county extension Homemakers Club and the Ta-Wa-Si Club.
Surviving are one son, John Mook, Oshkosh, Wisconsin; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and two brothers, Walter Hendrickson, Shelbyville and Thomas Hendrickson, Lafayette.
