Lester L. "Jim" Aagesen
Late of Florence Township Wilmington, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2000 at Silver Cross Hospital. Age 79 years.
    Born in Florence Township on March 22, 1921 to the late George and Charlotte Kelly Aagesen. Mr. Aagesen was engaged in farming within the Wilmington area his entire life. Member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Wilmington, Will County Farm Bureau, Joliet Rivals Club and Wilmington Moose Lodge. Mr. Aagesen was also a Pride Seed Corn dealer and an accomplished welder.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Elizabeth nee Benko; a son, Jim (Mary Lou); and a daughter, Georgia Aagesen, both of Wilmington; five grandchildren, Alicia (Bobby) Bolser, Jason and Erin E. Sellers and Sarah and Zach Aagesen; a great-grandson, Brock Bolser. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; and his sister, Charlotte.
    Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2000 from 4-8 PM and Funeral Tuesday 9:30 AM from the Reeves Funeral Home, Wilmington, to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Peotone Rd., Wilton Center, IL. Mass 10 AM. Rev. Frank Vitus officiating. Interment Maple Hill Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorials to Kuzma Care Cottage appreciated.
