Arthur (Jess)was the son of Lucy & William McKean. He married Edna A. Moore on January 6, 1913 in Newburg, Missouri and had 5 children, Arthur Leroy (Lee) 1912-1981, Russel 1915-1917, Nelson Eugene (Gene) 1918-1997, Evelyn Ann 1922-2001 and Donald Wayne 1925-2001.

according to cemetery records there are 3 infants buried here without markers. Infant boy died 11/4/63 buried above Edna, infant boy died 8/4/75 buried above Arthur, Christian Lynn died 8/4/75 buried above Donald. The infants buried above Arthur and Donald are twins.

Feb 1960 in St Louis County, MO. (left to right), Thomas E McKean, (baby in arms) Thomas E McKean Jr, Arthur K McKean, Nelson E McKean. 4 Generations of McKeans together. Sadly, Arthur was killed in a car accident on HWY 66 a few weeks after this photo was taken.
