Jane Herron was born 14 March 1841 at Satley, in the Parish of Lanchester, County of Durham, England the daughter of George & Hannah (Dawson) Herron. Jane married in England to John Allison and came to America with her family about 1869. She died on 3-13-1906, while living at 3 Cherry St in Pittston, Luzerne Co PA. She is buried in the Pittston cemetery. (no grave marker)
