REV. F. E. WARREN, Former Cascade Pastor Passes Away
CASCADE, Jan 29, 1957 - Funeral services for Rev. Frank Edward Warren, former pastor of the U.B. Church Cascade for 18 years, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Oswego, Illinois Federated Church with the pastor, Rev. G. Alder Murphy, officiating. Rev. Ernst assisting pastor was soloist.
Rev. Warren was born April 16, 1878 in Adams Co. Wisconsin and lived there until a young man. At the age of 20 he joined the Christian Crusaders in the western part of the state and while in the crusade work, met Miss Belle Stevens, Stockbridge, who had been in the same work for four years. They were married and later united with the United Brethern Church.
Always active workers, the Warrens are well known and loved in the State of Wisconsin.
During services at the Federated Church, Oswego, Sunday, Jan. 20th, Rev. Murphy had a brief special service honoring the Warrens for their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Survivors are his wife, two sons Richard of Phoenix, Arizona; Frank Jr., Puerto Rico; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Florence) Van Etten of Oswego, Illinois, Mrs. Donald (Hazel) Corrick, Oswego, Illinois. One son, Douglas passed away when young in life.
Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park, Kendall County, Oswego, Illinois.
