Mrs. Renia Rabon Jones,73, widow of Willie A. Jones of the Pleasant Union section of Horry County, died at 1:00 am Thursday at her home following a short illness. Funeral services were held at 10:30 am Saturday from the Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Hughes officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Dock Rabon, James Tompkins, Joe Martin, Jack Martin, Elton Johnson, and Edward Barnhill. Mrs. Jones was born October 8, 1890 in the Pleasant Union section of Horry County, a daughter of the late George W. and Jean Allen Rabon. She was a member of the Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Surviving are: two sons, Dowe Jones, Leon Jones of Rt. 2 Aynor; five daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Mary) Johnson, Rt. 2 Aynor, Mrs. Ebb (bell) Johnson, Rt. 3 Nichols, Mrs. Zode (Zilpha) Johnson, Rt.2 Aynor, Miss Ester Jones, Rt. 2 Aynor, Mrs. M.B.(Doretha) Allen, Rt. 1 Loris; three half sisters, Mrs. Ella Ray, Mrs. Sallie Rabon, Mrs. Tempie Rabon, all of Rt. 2 Aynor; 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
