She married Catarino Jaquez on November 25, 1934 in Ft. Stockton. He preceded her in death on June 08, 1967. Conrada was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved cooking and taking care of her family. Her favorite pastime was Sewing And Crocheting.
She leaves behind one Son: Catarino Jaquez, Jr. of Andrews; three Daughters: Sandy Hernandez of Kermit, Elida Subia of Andrews and Mary Lozano of Eldorado; one Brother: Joe Vara of Kermit; and one Sister: Candy Mesa of Kermit; twenty-four Grandchildren, fourty-eight Great-Grandchildren and four Great-Great Grandchildren.
Conrada was also preceded in death by two Sons: Tony Jaquez and Juan Jaquez; one Daughter: Lala Rhoades; one Brother: Manuelito Vara; and three Sisters: Maria Lujan, Christina Jaquez and Nasaria Esparza.
Prayer service was held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 03, 2004 at Family Services Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service was held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 04, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Kermit with Pastor Dudley Mullins officiating. Interment followed at Kermit Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Grandchildren: Blas Hernandez, Jr, Rene Subia, Joselito Salinas, Trey Jaquez, Cody Lozano and Abraham Jaquez. Honorary pallbearers are her remaining Grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor.
