Marion was born in New Lisbon, Otsego, New York,. Married James Turner on Dec. 19, 1839.
She was the child of Reuben Fairchild, Mellona Fellows.
They had at least four children

Obituary:
Medina County Gazette-February 16, 1883 this is Marion E. Turner, who has
been sick for the last three months, died last Tuesday at the residence of
her son in Coddingville. The funeral services took place Wednesday at 10:30
o'clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Bailey. Mrs. Turner was born October 22,
1815, At New Lisbon, Otsego County, New York, she came with her parents to
Sharon and, Medina County, Ohio, at the age of 18, and was married to James
Turner on December 29, 1839, with whom she spent a useful and happy life,
rearing a family of five children, all of whom are living, until she was
separated from her husband by his sudden death which occurred July 21, 1878.
She was baptized when she was an infant and to the Episcopal Church, and
remained a faithful member of that church until she removed to Sharon. At
that place she united with the Congregational Church, of which she remained
a member until the society broke up. She and her husband then united with
the Methodist Episcopal Church at Granger the winter of 1867-8. With this
society she remained a faithful member until she entered the church
triumphant, Tuesday morning February 6, 1883, aged 67 years three months and 14 days.
