DELTA--Bryant Beck Larsen, age 105, passed away August 5, 1999 in Delta, Utah.

He was born November 16, 1893 in Spring City, Sanpete County, Utah, the 5th of 6 children born to Louis and Mena Beck Larsen. He received his education in Spring City. He married Clara Vilate Strate November 17, 1917 in Manti, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized on May 25, 1921 in the Manti LDS Temple. They were the parents of 5 children.He moved his family to the Delta area in 1925 where he engaged in farming and sheep raising. His wife Clara Vilate died October 25, 1931. He then married Cora Wall Allen October 27, 1932 in Manti LDS Temple. She died December 17, 1982, shortly after their 50th Wedding anniversary.

Bryant was very active as a member of the LDS Church, having served as Bishop, Bishop's counselor, High Councilman, High Priest group leader, Stake Missionary, and for many years as a temple worker in the Manti and Mesa Temples.

Bryant is survived by two daughters: Frances Whicker, Delta, Utah; Edith (Glen) Harder, Layton, Utah; stepdaughter: Arva (Marven) Ogden, Richfield, Utah; stepdaughter-in-law: Louise Allen, Delta, Utah; 19 grandchildren and many great- and great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons: Bryant Leor, and Russell S.; infant daughter: Velma; stepson: Verl Allen; son-in-law: R.C. Whicker; infant granddaughter: Clarene Whicker; three sisters; two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 9, 1999 at 11 a.m., in the Delta 4th Ward. Friends may call at the Church on Monday from 9:30-10:40 a.m. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery under the direction of the Nickle Mortuary of Delta.
