ANDERSON — Betty Jane (Nevin) Teter, 81, Anderson, died April 9, 2010, at Community Hospital, Anderson, after a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 7, 1929, in Indianapolis and resided in Anderson.
She lived in Anderson all her life, graduated from Anderson High School, worked as a beautician and also worked in the Photography Department at Kmart. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ema Belle Pope; first husband, George Robert Nevin; and several brothers and sisters-in-laws.
Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Christian Church. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Christian Church, with Pastor John Hannum officiating.
Floral arrangements may be sent to the church.
Cremation will take place. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
