Frank R. Berry, 83, of 1640 Oakwood Drive, Gladwin, died suddenly Wednesday, January 8. Born February 17, 1891, in Buffalo, Ind., he had been a resident of Gladwin County since 1968, coming here from Holly. A veteran of World War I, he was a construction painter. Mr. Berry was married July 7, 1917, in Holly, to the former Miss Lois A. Church.

Surviving are his wife, Lois of Gladwin; 3 daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Jean Lois) Lemon and Mrs. Harvey (Audrey Ann) Shooltz, both of Gladwin, and Mrs. Nick (Margot Eileen) Peet of Detroit; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services were held Friday at 11 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with the Rev. Byron Hatch officiating, and burial was in Lakeside Cemetery at Holly. Gladwin County Record dated 1-15/1975 Column – 5 Page – 2.
