Mary Alice "Cundiff" Moore was born on October 12th 1920 in Indian Springs in Martin County Indiana , The youngest born to her family ,as a girl Mary Alice Worked on her fathers farm ,and went to Burn City elementary school,one of her favorite things to do was write poems .Years later Mary Alice moved to Indianapolis and worked in a store called ,Real Silk ,Located in downtown Indianapolis ,A friend who worked with her and her boyfriend introduced Mary Alice and Roy Goodwin Moore .On May 9th 1942 in Covington Ky,Mary Alice And Roy G, Got Married In a Justice and the Peace ,In 1943 Roy was signed up to be in the army ,and was sent to basic training in Texas ,Mary Alice Moved to Texas and worked for R.C.A ,Putting tubes in radios for the solders .During the war , Mary Alice moved back to Indianapolis and saved Money to move into her very own house for her and Roy .In 1945 Roy Returned from the war,on the night he returned ,Mary Alice and Roy conceived their first child ,On Sept,12 1946 Mary Alice and Roy had their first Child ,Mary Ann Moore,A Year Later They Gave Birth to a Second Child ,John Thomas Moore,In 1950 They Gave Birth to third Child ,Jeffery Lynn Moore ,And in 1952 They gave birth to Ronald Goodwin Moore ,In 1954 Mary Alice and Roy Moved into their Dream Home,A large Stone home,on the west side of Indianapolis ,In 1960 ,they gave birth to Their fifth Child ,Scott Moore , and In 1965 They Gave birth to their sixth Child Gary Moore ,Since the end of the war ,Mary Alice was a homemaker ,tending to her home and her children ,On March 25th 1972 ,Mary Alice and Roy ,lost their Son Ronald to a Motorcycle accident ,Mary Alice and Roy never truly recovered after the lost of Ronnie ,years later as the result of Ronald's passing ,Mary Alice was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease ,on Feb 28 2002 ,Mary Alice Passed away ,She was laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery along side her beloved son Ronald and later joined by her wonderful husband Roy.
