LEXINGTON- Thomas R. Todd, 74, husband of Bonita (Bonnie) Amundson Todd, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at his home surrounded by family and his beloved dog, Sasha.
Born in Maysville, he was a son of the late Earl and Ora Leigh Garrett Todd.
Mr. Todd was a communications supervisor for the U.S. Air Force retiring after 22 years of service. He also later retired from Neill LaVielle as a salesman. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, he loved model trains, gardening and was an avid UK basketball fan.
Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Mark Todd of Lexington; a daughter, Julie (Jonathan) Stadstad of Lexington; four grandchildren whom he loved very much, Courtney, Spencer, Maggie Leigh, and Ava; a sister, Helen T. Ison of Lexington; mother-in-law, Minnie Amundson; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Monson and Donna (Kenny) Huff; brother-in-law, Elroy (Sharon) Amundson; two nieces, Susan (Tim) White; two nephews, Todd (Donna) Taylor and Jeff (DeLea) Cracraft; and great-nieces, Amanda Ecton, Kristin Taylor and Lauren Cracraft; and great nephew, Matthew Cracraft.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Cracraft.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 516 Pasadena Dr., Lexington with Pastor Michael Redeker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Stadstad, Donald Cracraft, Todd Taylor, Greg Hodge, and Tobin Crawford. Honorary pallbearer will be Spencer Stadstad.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, Ky. 40513.
