Paul Rupert
Benjamin Rupert
Donald C Rupert
Carl Rupert
Leon Rupert

Carle Rupert was the oldest of the boys, followed by Donald Ralph Rupert and then Paul. Paul died as a young boy. Ella was pregnant with Roy when Marcus died in 1918 of the flu pandemic, therefore 1918 was the last time they could possibly have had any children. Ella remarried after Marcus' death, but had no more children. Donald Ralph was born May 18, 1911 and passed away April 22, 2001. He was my grandfather, as stated above, and he told me all about losing his father at the age of seven.

Aug 8, 2009, Mary Paden Rupert at "Rupert famly reunion" provided old typed copies of several family obituaries saved from years ago.

June 2010 - Stan Rupert has updated us more:
I am Stan Rupert, son of Marcus Roy Rupert, Jr.and Verna Rupert.

Bob Rupert is the son of Carl B Rupert Bob lives locally.

The last reunions I used to go to was the Hoffmaster reunion which uncle Carle hosted at his Carle-Vada Lodge in Ravenna.

Marcus Roy Rupert who died in 1918 was my father's father. My father was named Marcus Roy Rupert also, so he must be a Jr, but usually when the Sr dies, the Junior loses the title of Junior. A bit confusing I might say since Sr died before Jr was born. My father was born Jan 18, 1919 and died Jan 12, 2003 in Bradenton, Fl. He preferred to be called Roy and legal documents were signed as M. Roy Rupert.
