MRS. ELSIE EMILY ROOT
Funeral services are scheduled Saturday in Brea for Mrs. Elsie Emily Root, 73 , of 239 S. Randolph Ave., Brea, who died Tuesday in San Bernardino Community Hospital after an illness. She had been visiting with a daughter near San Bernardino.
The Rev. Gerald Ford, minister, First Presbyterian Church of Fullerton will officiate at the service at 10 a.m. Neels Brea Mortuary, 835 S. Brea Blvd. Interment will be in Loma Vista Memorial Park.
Mrs. Root is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Yett, Rialto; two sons Clark W. Root of Brea and Harold E. Root,
U.S. Navy; three sisters, Mrs. George Klosterhaus of Los Angeles and Mrs. Hugh Bristol and Mrs. Edgar Simmons, both residing in Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
