Thomas William Abbott, 91, Bethel Park, formerly of the South Side, died Fri., April 9, 2010; husband for 42 years of Rosemarie (Gatz) Abbott; and the late Gaynell (Barrett) Abbott; father of John, William (Adele) and Mary Gay Abbott-Young (James Young); step-father of Andrea Dox, Gregory (Debbie) Bonuito and the late George Bonuito and Anita Schenk; 10 grandchildren; 11 gr. grandchildren; brother of the late Leo Abbott, Catherine Madine and Margaret Abbott. Thomas was a U.S. Army Air Corp, WWII veteran. He was awarded an air medal with three oak leaf clusters and the distinguished flying cross. Henney Funeral Home, Library. Burial, National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
