SPRINGFIELD - Ora L. Greene, 80, of Springfield died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at Regency Nursing Care in Springfield.
She was born April 9, 1922, in Springfield, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Hungerford. She married Emery "Mike" Greene in 1942; he died in 1993.
Mrs. Greene graduated from Springfield High School and Brown's Business College. She was a former treasurer of Pleasant Plains School District and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors: a daughter, Karen Rhodes of Houston; a son, John (wife, Debbie) Greene of Springfield; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, New Salem United Methodist Church at Riddle Hill, the Rev. Roosevelt Smith officiating.
Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
