Robert Emil 'Zoad' Anderson
Casper - Funeral services for Robert Emil "Zoad" Anderson, 51, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bustard's Funeral Home by Pastor Dan Carlin of Word Christian Fellowship. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home today, May 17, from 2-8 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

He died May 13, 2006, at his home.

He was born Dec. 7, 1954, in Riverton, the son of Robert Lee and Leatrice Louise (Zlomke) Anderson. He was raised in Casper, graduating from Natrona County High School in 1973.

In June 1977 he married Barbara Strohl in Casper.

He worked as a surveyor for several companies, including Arma Geophysical, Western Geophysical and Kennecott Gold Mine; and was head surveyor for Arch Mineral. In 1999 he suffered a heart attack; and leter worked in Casper for Choice Flooring.

An avid outdoorsman, he also loved card games, reading, polictics, movies, and his dogs. He will be rememberd for his never-ending love of Wyoming and the Minnesota Vikings. He was known as a devoted father and grandfather and an exceptional cook.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard and his wife of San Jose, Calif., and Paul of Casper; one daughter, Opal of Casper; a grandson; his father of Rock Springs; a brother, Michael of Shell; and a sister, Rebecca Laib of Portland, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorials may be sent to the Zoad Anderson Memorial Fund in care of WESC Federal Credit Union, 155 W. Collins, Casper, WY 82601; or left at Bustard's.
