Services for Laurena Brookfield, 79, who died Sunday, will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fathers Bill Rowe and Jim Buerster presiding. Visitation will be in Summers Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary.
Mrs. Brookfield was born Jan. 17, 1904, in Jasper County, the daughter of August and Wilhelmenia (Schmitt) Radke.
She married Ephraim Brookfield Sept. 28, 1927, and he survives.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Anita Hunt, Mt. Vernon; and Jane Griesemer, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and five sisters.
