Mary was the daughter of Irish immigrant, Michael Delaney. Her mother's name is unknown at this time. She first married Henry Claire and they had a son, George Claire. She then married French immigrant, Jean Marie Emile Ducourt and together they had 5 children. After the birth of their 3rd child, they moved to Dallas, Texas and began a mattress, bedding & awning manufacturing company. On April 13, 1886, at the age of 38, her husband committed suicide by drinking chloroform. She went on to run the business. She remarried a man named Pasquale Goggia who helped her run the business. In 1901, they sold the business and moved to Los Angeles County, California.

Mary was the mother of Joseph Emile Ducourt, Marie Louise (Ducourt) Brochiero (buried in this cemetery), Benjamin F. Ducourt (buried in this cemetery), Alfred Roger Ducourt & Blanche Beatrice (Ducourt) Kerns (buried in this cemetery). Mary is buried between her daughter, Blanche & Blanche's husband, Charles Floyd Kerns.
