ANDERSON — Betty L. Lawson, 70, of Anderson, passed away April 11, 2010, at Community Hospital.
She was born Dec. 3, 1939, in Luther, Tenn., the daughter of Charles and Della McCoy. Betty lived in Anderson since the early 1960's and was a retired self-employed hair salon owner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald A. Lawson; brothers, Dewy McCoy, Charles McCoy and Donald McCoy; and sisters, Christine Mills, Edith Baer and Ann Smith.
Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Rob McIllwain officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
