Edward L. "Pete" Heimer, age 64, of Edina. Missouri, passed away early Saturday morning (July 8, 1995) in Ellis-Fischel Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Born July 25, 1930 in Knox County. Missouri, he was a son of Charles William and Buelah Kaylor Heimer.
On February 11, 1950 at Shelbyville. Missouri, he was united In marriage to Betty Ruth Coslett and she survives.
Also surviving are six children. Phyllis Campbell and her husband, Gene of Knox City, Missouri, Tommy Heimer and his Wife, Kim of Hurdland, Missouri. Chris Gosmyer of Novelty, Missouri, Charles Heimer and his wife, Crystal of Kirksville, Missouri. Becky Brogan and her husband, Mike of Rutledge, Missouri and Mike "Pickle" Heimer of Edina, Missouri; two brothers. Bill Heimer of Newark. Missouri and Kenny Heimer of Labelle, Missouri; two sisters, Mickey Small of Hebron. Indiana and Erma Robertson of Edina, Missouri; two half-brothers; two half-sisters; twelve grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded In death by his parents and three sisters.
Mr. Heimer was a life long resident of Knox County where he received his education. For the past Thirty eight years he had been employed by Campbell Farms of Edina. Pete was active With the KnoxCounty4-H. He enjoyed horses and woodworking and most all his children and grandchildren.
Funeral services Will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (July II, 1995) at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina, Missouri. The Reverend David Howald Will officiate the services. Burial will be In the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, southwest of Edina, Missouri.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday (July 10, 1995) at the Hudson Rimer Funeral Chapel tin Edina. Missouri. Family Will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In the
