She married Eugene George Maxwell (Bigg) on August 8, 1904 in Grand Prairie, Dallas Co., Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Martin Combs & Mary Cathrine Crawford. Laura Belle Combs Maxwell was known as "Aunt Dutch" by her family and friends.
