Wednesday afternoon in the Haw-
thorne Home, 1501 Mineral Spring
Road.
Born in Reading, she was a daugh-
ter of the late Ralph H. and Mary C.
(hoffmaster) Gilbert. She was employed
for 15 years as a clerk by the Depart-
ment of Welfare, retiring in January
1986.
Surviving are two brothers, John
W. Gilbert, Reading, and Frederick
Gilbert, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and
four sisters: Felecia Gilbert, Ivy
M. Ziegler and Dorothy G., widow
of Peter W. Brecker, all of Reading,
and Arlene Reed, Madison, Ohio.
The Auman Funeral Home, Reading, is
in charge of arrangements.
