MRS. SAVILLA ZOOK, widow of Enoch Zook, died in New Oxford Wednesday, March 18, in her 89th year. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Staley or Kingsdale. She is survived by five daughters, three being Mrs. Sarah Leese of Baltimore, Mrs. Chas. Deatrich of New Oxford, and Mrs. George Smith of York. Ambrose Zook of McSherrystown is an only son. Five sisters and one brother also survive. Mrs. Frank Hesson, Mrs. David Bowers and Mrs. William Anthony of Littlestown. Mrs. Anna Myers of Hanover, Miss Lydia Staley of Philadelphia, and John Staley of Littlestown. The funeral was held last Friday, interment being made in the New Oxford Cemetery, services by Rev. L. Dow Ott of Gettysburg, pastor of the M. E. Church.
