Walter Forney Bell Sr., 87, of Westminster, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at Carroll County General Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1907, near Westminster, he was the son of the late William F. and Martha Jane Forney Bell. He was a retired electrician and carpenter, and worked for J.E. Shaeffer, an electrical contractor in Reisterstown. He was a life-long member of St. Benjamin's (Krider's) Lutheran Church of Westminster, a member of the Westminster Moose No. 1381 and of the Westminster Municipal Band since June of 1928. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons William H. Bell of Westminster and Walter F. Bell Jr. of Hagerstown; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Anna Bell. The family will receive friends at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster on from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
