My grandmother, Thelma Phay Bloom was the daughter of Charles Fredrick Bloom and June Helen Phay. She had one sibling, a sister, Velma Verneta. She was the wife of Ralph Eugene McCulley. She was a very tiny woman, never weighing more than 95 pounds even when pregnant with my father! She had two sons, Donald Lewis (my dad) and David Charles. She was a homemaker her whole life. She was a very talented poem writer.
