Mrs. Thelma Virginia Bailey, 90 of Moss Point, MS passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. She was born on October 3, 1919 in Central, MS.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Bible Church in Moss Point, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Cochran and Lannie Melissa Havard.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Ted" Bailey of Moss Point, MS; her daughters Dottie Coleman of Moss Point, MS, and Alice (Jack) Shoemake of Gautier, MS; two grandsons, Wade Shoemake of Gautier, MS and Andy (Joy) Shoemake of Crestview, FL; two great grandsons, Jackson and Javin Shoemake of Crestview, FL; and four sisters, Louella Murrah, Irma Lee Havard, Nell Pipkins all of Lucedale, MS and Belle Ledbetter of Moss Point, MS. She is also survived by a host of other family, church family, and friends.
The visitation for Mrs. Bailey will be Thursday, April 15, 2010 from noon to 2 p.m. at Trinity Bible Church in Moss Point, MS. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Bible Church with Reverend Perry Smith and Reverend Les Pierce officiating.
Interment will follow at Crossroads Methodist Church Cemetery in George County, MS with Charles Cunningham, Brandon George, Tracy George, Mike Havard, Stennis Havard, Shane Havard and Craig Wood serving as pallbearers.
