Napa, Calif: Joan Mae "Bottolfson" Soline, died Tuesday Feb. 28, 1995 at her residence in Napa, Calif.
Visitation was Friday March 3, 1995 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, NE.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 4, 1995 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hartington, with Rev. Paul Reimers officiating.
Burial was in the Paragon Cemetery, Hartington.
Pallbears were Dean Kuchar, Arthur Bottolfson Jr., David Opfer, George Williams Jr., Jim Hurley, Harold Thompson Jr., and Donald Thompson.
Mrs. Solline was born Feb. 21, 1917 to Otto M. and Anna C. (Anderson) Bottolfson in Hartington.
She grew up in the Hartington area and lived in Sioux City, Iowa for a time before moving to California, where she lived most of her life.
(Note): (Joann shared an apartment with a cousin Mary Bottolfsen daughter of Magnus and Bertha, when they were single and both worked at Schwab's Drug Store in Hollywood. Joann also introduced Mary Bottolfsen to her husband F. O. Baird. this information in a letter from Joann to Connie Bottolfsen Loftus)
She lived in Belmont, CA and recently moved to Napa, Calif.
She was a self-employed seamstress for over fifty years. She sewed shirts for Jack Benny and also did alterations for many well known people.

Survivors include a daughter: Paula Solline, Redwood City, Calif., six sisters: Mrs Jim (Lenora) Hurley, Sioux City, Iowa; Wilma Nielsen, Madison; Lois Opfer, Hartington; Mrs. Vern (Madeline) Newton, Napa, Calif.; Anita Wieseler, Sioux City, Iowa; Maryln Williams, Sioux City, Iowa.
She was preced in death by her parents, six brothers: Arthur, Orville, Harold, Otto Jr., Robert and Carl Bottolfson and a sister, Mrs Harold (Cleone) Thompson.
The remains were cremated.

Joann married Salvatore E Solline who was born in Rochester New York, they were married Jan 1, 1948 in San Francisco, CA. Salvatore was a marine engineer as of 1964.
Joann lived is several cities in CA including Redwood City, San Mateo, San Francisco, Hollywood and Belmont, she also lived in Washington DC at one time.
