William died the following day of a horse and buggy accident in the town of Morven, Brooks Co., Ga. His body was removed to Wesley Chapel Cem., Berlin, Colquitt Co., Ga., according to his Death Cert. He would have been buried next to his first wife Eulah Tyler Dykes, who died between 1910 and 1917. They are buried in the Eulah's "Tyler" family plot, in unmarked graves, next to their infant dau.
