MRS. R. FAIRLIE RITES FRIDAY
WEST POINT --Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Fairlie, 57, native of Fort Madison, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Mercy hospital, Iowa City (IA), FOLLOWING A TWO WEEKS ILLNESS. Mrs. Fairlie was a resident of Sigourney having lived there the past 19 years.
The former Dorothy Luetkehans was born in Fort Madison On Nov. 15, 1903. ON August 31, 191, at St. Mary's Catholic church, West Point, she was married to Ralph Fairlie. She was a member of St. Mary's church at Sigourney and the Altar and Rosary Society of that church.
Besides her husband she is survived by her mother Mrs. Henry Luetkehans, West Point, a daughter Mrs. Maynard (Doreen) Mincer, Fort Madison; one brother Lawrence Luetkehans, Fort Madison; two sisters Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Gough and Mrs. Lawrence (Madeline) Winterhalter, Niagara Falls, NY, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic church, Weste Point, Msgr. J. A. Wagner will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body is at the Link Funeral Home in West Point where it will remain until time of service.. The rosary will be recited here at 8 p.m. Thursday.
