Philip W. Rehm, 66, route 1, Monroe, who retired from International Harvester Co. in 1976 after 32 years of service, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Adams County Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

He attended Mt. Hope Church of the Nazerene, and was a longtime union steward. He also was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Born in Allen County on September 20, 1918, he was the son of Edward and Ada Fleming-Rehm, and was married to Bertha Bebout; she survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Rick, Rod and Kevin, all of route 1, Monroe; two sisters, Ruth Rehm, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Louis (Alice) Houser, Venice, Fla; a brother, Tom Rehm, Fort Wayne; and a grandson, Brendan. Two brothers preceded in death.

Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene, Rev. Dean Pickett officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call atWinteregg-Linn & Haggard Funeral Home from 2 to 5 an 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until noon Monday, and then at the church one hour prior to services. Military graveside rites will be performed by the Willshire American Legion. Memorials are to the church building fund.
