Whereas, It has pleased our Great Grand Master to call from our midst and the field of his usefulness, to a happier and more blessed home, our worthy and esteemed brother, Edward J Dorsey; therefore be it:
Resolved, That we fully sympathize with his greatly beloved family in their deep affliction, and bear testimony of his worth as a citizen and brother; as the evergreen is cast in the grave, so may the memory of our brother remain green in the minds of all true Masons, to whom his worth was known.
Resolve, That a copy of these resolutions be forwarded to the family of our deceased brothers, and also, that a copy be spread upon the records of this Lodge, and copies furnished our county papers and the Masonic Trowel for publication.
