Theodore Fred Dyal, 78, of Jacksonville, passed away April 15, 2010. A native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, he was retired as a security officer with the Florida Air National Guard for over twenty years. He was a member of Hogan Baptist Church, and had served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. My Dyal was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years Beverly Rae Dyal on August 30, 2009, 1 sister: Dorothy Mae Brown and 1 brother: Linville Dyal. He is survived by 3 daughters: Bonnie Carignan, Cathy Dyal, Dianne Dyal, 1 son: timothy P. Dyal, 3 sisters: Edna Rogers, Sara Robertson, Mary Ferguson, 2 grandchildren: Candice Hardy and David Wilkinson, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd. S., Jacksonville, 32216. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev. Larry Elliott officiating, followed by Military Honors provided by Florida Air National Guard.
