PETERSBURG-- Michael "Buck" Rothrock, 64, of Petersburg, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at his residence of a stroke.

He was born March 3, 1937, in Gibson County to Hubert H. and Gladys Mae (Bilderback) Rothrock.

He was a coal miner and an electrician. He was a member of the Eagles of Winslow, the Sons of the Legion of Winslow, the Moose in Petersburg and United Mine Workers local 5179.

Surviving are his companion, Pat Rothrock of Petersburg; a son, Mike Rothrock of Winslow; a daughter, Karen Lee of Oakland City; three brothers, Dan of Oakland City and John and Tony of Winslow; four sisters, Nola Gartin and Betty Evans, both of Petersburg, Olive Clark of Travaris, Fla., and Laura Freeman of Oakland City; and four grandchildren.
