Mrs. Elizabeth Luetkehans, a lifetime resident of Lee county, was buried Monday in Calvary cemetery following morning funeral services at St. Mary's Catholic church, West Point.

She died at age 84 Friday, February 7 in Golden Age Nursing Home in Davenport following an extended illness. Services in charge of the Link Funeral Home were conducted by Msgr. J. A. Wagner.

Mrs. Luetkehans, the former Elizabeth Schier, was born September 14, 1884, in Fort Madison (Iowa), and married Henry Luetkehans November 12, 1901, at St. Mary's church in Fort Madison. She was a member of St. Mary's, West Point.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth M. "Pat" Gough, Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Lawrence Winterhalter, Rock Island, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Charles Leonard, Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death 42 years ago. One son and a daughter also died previously.
