Cora Jane Aaron, 90, Russell Springs, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at her residence.

She was born February 10, 1919 to the late Henderson and Evaline McQueary Stephens.

She is survived by her husband, Henry "Sonnie" Aaron, Russell Springs; two sons, Jackie (Sue) Aaron and Jeff Aaron, both of Russell Springs; four daughters, Janet (Thomas) Morgan and Vivian (Wayne) Harper, both of Glasgow, Youlanda (Lee) Call, Beech Grove, IN and Ruth Ann (Jack) Hopkins, Shelbyville, IN; 11 grandchildren, Donna Bennett, Debbie Dickerson, Karen Francis, Pam Florence, Michael Call, Lora Newman, Tonia Redmon, Chad Aaron, James Aaron, Jessica Aaron Landreth and Erin Morsey; nine great grandchildren; one brother, R.V. (Rosa) Stephens, Russell Springs two sisters, Clara Cunningham, Middletown, OH and Martha Bernard, Russell Springs; and special care givers, Jenny Aaron, Gina Quinlan and the Hospice Team.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, A.R., Luther and Jim Stephens; and three sisters, Ada Dixon, Bessie Stephens and Dephia Coffey.

Mrs. Aaron was a homemaker and a member of the Bernard Ridge Church of God.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Bernard Church of God with Bro. James Small and Bro. Jack Crockett officiating.

Burial was in Bernard Cemetery.

Special music by Diane Hughes, David Green, Mary Lou Stephens, Jessica Aaron Landreth, Bobby Dunbar and Sister Crockett.

Pallbearers were Jackie Aaron, Tonia Redmon, Chad Aaron, Jamie Aaron, Michael Call, Butch Bernard and Avery Coffey.

Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Morgan, Lee Call, Wayne Harper, James Cunningham, David Redmon, Gina Quinlan, Scott Thomas, Randy Thomas and Johnny Cunningham.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Bernard Ridge Church of God.
