Mapleton, Iowa—Arthur T Hahn, 80, of Mapleton, died Wednesday at a nursing home in Dunlap.
Services were Saturday in the Walter Funeral Home of Mapleton with the Rev. Robert Leege officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Hahn was born October 28, 1897 at Mapleton, and was a lifetime resident of the community. He married Ethel Scott at Sioux City December 7, 1926. He farmed. He was a 50-year member of Loren Hollister Post 496, American Legion.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Lynn of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Beverly) Bumsted of Ute and Mrs. Ernest (Dora Kay) Witzel of Castana; two brothers, Herbert Sr. of Denison and Harold of San Francisco; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Clara) Jorgenson of Sheridan, Wyo. and Mrs. Paul (Hattie) Wessels of Thousand Oaks, California; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
