Dolores V. Etten, 83, of Schaumburg, formerly of Crystal Lake, died Monday, December 18, 2000 at home.
She was born on November 4, 1917, in Chicago, to William and Mary (Fagan) Schramp.
She married Hubert Etten on January 28, 1938 in Chicago.
Survivors include six children: Donna (Vic) Conrad of Palm Bay, FL, Joseph (Judy) Etten of Holly Springs, NC, Gerry Andre of Gurnee, Kathy (Nick) Quartana of Schaumburg, Margie (Gene) Moeller of Union, and Judi (Chris) Johnson of Crystal Lake; 16 grandchildren: Cathy (Mark) Kruegman, Robert Conrad, Joe and Andrea Etten, Jeff (Sara) Andre, Jim Andre and John (Vicki) Andre and Julie Andre, Dana and Tony Quartana, Bob (Patty) Moeller, Dolores and Gena Moeller, Christopher, Marie and Bert Johnson; five great-grandchildren: Emily, Zachary, Mallory and Nick Andre, and Alyssa Moeller; and a sister, Rosemary (Cy) Howard of Mokena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bert, in 1982; a sister, Mabel Burfiend, and a brother, Art Schramp.
Visitation will be held at QUERHAMMER & FLAGG FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake on Thursday, December 21 from 3-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 22 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will follow in Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name to Vitas Hospice, 580 Waters Edge, Lombard, IL 60148 would be appreciated.
