PERU -- Nancy G. Drnach, 72, of Peru, died Monday evening, Oct. 8, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be private at St. Vincent's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mueller Funeral Home in Peru with a Scripture service at 4:45 p.m. by the Rev. Harold Datzman, OSB.
Mrs. Drnach was born July 5, 1935, in Peru, to Joseph and Bernice (Slegister) Ellerbrock. She married Frank Drnach on Aug. 27, 1982, in Ottawa.
She worked at Sunstrand until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Peru and volunteered for IVAR.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Susan Beal of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; two stepsons, Joseph and Kevin (Teresa) Drnach, both of Howell, Mich.; three stepdaughters, Lisa Cuonzo of Clearwater, Fla., Christine Drnach of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Wendy (Richard) Smith of Apopka, Fla.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; two brothers, David Ellerbrock of St. James, Minn., and Daryl Ellerbrock of Omaha, Ark.; three sisters, Alice (Robert) Smith of Wichita, Kan., Sandra Meyer of St. James and Joanne (James) Lamchick of DePue.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
