COVINGTON - Bobby John Adams, 59, a resident of Pine, died at 8:35 a.m. yesterday in Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington. A member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, he was a retired electrician with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Diana and Jimmy Stuart, Sarah Adams, and Dana Adams, all of Pine; his mother, Eunice Baughman Adams of Pine; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James A. Jr. and Audry Adams of Covington, Ed and Delores Adams, and Jewel and JoAnn Adams, all of Pine; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathy and Tim Thomas, and Mary Freeman, all of Pine; and three grandchildren, Amber Stuart, Angela Stuart, and Matthew Stuart.
Preceding him in death was his father, James A. Adams Sr.
Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 6-10 p.m. today and will continue after 10 a.m. tomorrow at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church until time of the funeral service, to be conducted by Eld. Ben Whattley and Dr. Wayne Cook. Burial will follow in the Harmon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
