Donna Ruth DiMichele Mason, 71, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Wyano, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in the Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, Bonita Springs, Fla. Ms. Mason was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Brackenridge, the daughter of the late Dominic and Alice Walters DiMichele. She had attended St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church in Crabtree before relocating to Florida. Donna was a graduate of South Huntingdon Township High School, class of 1956, and a graduate of Airline Stewardess School in Kansas City, Mo. She worked as an airline stewardess until she married and then worked for the Olan Mills Studio's while raising her family. Donna loved crafts, crocheting and doing ceramics. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially spending hours baking Christmas cookies with them. She spent her later years residing in Florida with her son, enjoying the warmth and sunshine. Donna was a wonderful mother and a loving grandmother. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald DiMichele, in 2009.
