Mrs, Winnie Irene (Granny) Randall, age 96 of Grapeland, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2003 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mrs. Randall was born October 7, 1907 in Houston County and had lived in Grapeland most of her lifetime. Mrs. Randall was retired from the Latexo I.S.D. and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Olen Ozell Randall; son-in-law Billy Joe Thomas; grandson Christopher Michael Thomas; brothers and sisters Guy David Fowler, George Earl Fowler, James Henry Fowler, John Elbert Fowler, Merdie Estell Hearn, William Thomas (Dick) Fowler, Lena Mae Smith, and Nodelle Elizabeth Jermain.
Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Irene (Granny) Randall were held Friday, November 7, at 3:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Al Cortez and the Rev. Ottis Byers officiating. Interment followed in the McCarter Cemetery.
