Louise G. Chapman, 89, of Plattville, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Saturday morning, April 17, at Provena Villa Franciscan Home in Joliet.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fruland 
Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris, with the Rev. Lloyd Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in West Lisbon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Born April 22, 1920, in Ottawa, she was the daughter of Ole and Laura (Markeson) Johnson. She received her education in the schools of Ottawa. Louise married Russell Chapman June 2, 1945, in Ottawa. For most of their married life they lived in the Plattville area.

Surviving are one daughter, Doris (Kenneth) Walters of Lisbon; two sons, Dale (Lynda) Chapman of Morris and Kim Chapman of Plattville; five grandchildren, David Duran and Michael, Jeffrey (Melinda), Philip (Shari) and Daniel Chapman; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Allison, Mason, Mattie, Peyton and Molly; one sister-in-law, Margaret Gunnerson of Morris; one brother-in-law, Wesley Chapman of Marseilles; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Russell on Jan. 17, 2007; and several brothers and sisters.

She was a member of the Church of the Nazerene. She enjoyed cooking, reading, garage sales and spending time on the phone talking to her children, grandchildren and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Billy Graham Association or American Cancer Society.
