Mrs. L. Curtis died suddenly at her home on Grant Street Sunday evening of heart disease. She was an old resident of this city. Deceased was a native of New York and aged 60 years. She was a member of Idlewild Chapter Eastern Star. She leaves a weeping family and mourning friends.

The funeral of the late Mrs. L. Curtis under the auspices of the Eastern Star, took place Wednesday. The remains were interred in the I.O.O.F Cemetery.
