Goldie Mae (Rosenberger) Bowser, 94, of Kittanning, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Armstrong County Health Center. She was born April 29, 1915, in Kittanning Township, a daughter of the late John H. Rosenberger and Margaret J. (Schreckengost) Rosenberger. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the community. She was a member of Christ Rupp Emanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed working puzzles and spending time with her cat, Tommy. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Hansen, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Sylvia (Clarence) Crytzer, of Kittanning, and Mary Kunselman and her friend, Leon Scholl, of Kittanning; sons, Loran (Amy) Bowser, of Greenville, Pa., and John Bowser and his friend, Karen Rosenberger, of Kittanning; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd V. Bowser; daughter, Lisa Marie Bowser; son, Victor L. Bowser; and grandsons, Floyd V. L. Bowser and Michael L. Bowser. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Rupp Emanuel Lutheran Church with additional visitation from noon until the time of service with Pastor Joan Armstrong, her church pastor. Interment in Rupp Lutheran Church Cemetery.
