ROCK HILL -- Mr. Thomas "Tommy" W. Broach, 62, of Lakewood Drive, formerly of Lancaster, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Providence Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Keith Burgess and Rusty Fleming officiating. Burial will be at Westside City Cemetery.
A native of Lancaster County, Mr. Broach was a son of the late Herman Lee Broach and Willie Mae Jhant Broach. He retired from Bowater and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lancaster.
Surviving are his wife, Ginny Hodge Broach; his son, Marty Broach of Lancaster; his daughter, Nikki Broach Viola of Florence; his stepdaughter, Ella Marie Haneck of Sumter; two brothers, Nolan Broach of Lancaster and Sonny Broach of Lake Wylie; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at the home of Dale and Margaret Hodge, 2200 Lloyd Drive, Sumter, and from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
