Maude Melvina Ramage, 88. former Tipton resident living at the home of a granddaughter in Converse, Indiana, died here Saturday at 10 a.m. Services will be held at 2pm. Tuesday from the Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence Hufhand officiating and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the funeral home- Mrs. Ramage was born Nov. 9, 1879 in Little New York, daughter of John Calvin and Asceneth Emmaline (Leonard) Suits. She was first married in Tipton July 3, 1895 to Frank Pore and after his death was to Norval O Ramage. Both husbands are now deceased. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Tipton and of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving children are Mrs. Mitchell S. Kelley of Tipton; Mrs. Phyllis Likens of Tipton, Lee O. Pore of Chicago and Ralph C. Pore. Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
