Betty Lou Kestner Bailey, 76, of 300 S. Wayne Avenue, Waynesboro, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 in the Shenandoah House at Fishersville.
She was born March 31,1934 in Waynesboro, a daughter of Joseph Freeman Kestner and Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin Kestner.

Mrs. Bailey was known by her family and friends to be a loving mother. She was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ernest Bailey, on Oct. 5,1995 and a daughter, Wanda Sue Stockman.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Gale Collins of Fishersville, Barbara J. Wiseman and Rosemary Bailey, both of Waynesboro; two sons, David L. Bailey of Waynesboro, Robert E. Bailey Jr. of Fishersville; two sisters, Ethel Hall of Stuarts Draft, Helen Walters of Fishersville; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at McDow Funeral Home by Brother Robert Shepherd. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
