Cleon G. Warren, Jr., "Junior," was born in Tucson, Arizona on September 20, 1959. He was the long awaited first born child of Cleon R. and Florine Warren.

The family moved to Fresno, California in 1965. He received his education at Fresno Colony, West Fresno Elementary, Ivy Junior High School and graduated from Washington Union High School in 1977.

Cleon fathered one child, Chris with his soul mate, Carolyn Marshall, and was adopted father to Kevin.

Cleon accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He often told the story of how Grandpa E.J. would pick him up every Sunday and take him to Church. Cleon truly loved Church. He loved worshiping the Lord, fellowshipping with friends and family, dressing up and he especially loved to sing. He sang in th Mass Choir, Male Chorus and served on the Usher Board until his illness took over.

Cleon served in the Army National Guard where he received training as a cook. Cooking was his second passion, his love of Christ was his first. He was known for his dinner parties and used every opportunity possible to cook and gather friends and family. He also worked as a cook for several local restaurants such as Pardini's and Applebee's.

Cleon kept smiles on everyone's faces. He had the best sense of humor. When you said something he thought was funny, he would jokingly say, "whoooooooooo, you ain't gone worry me."

Cleon was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Florine, and cherished aunt, Mickie.

He leaves to mourn him: his father, Cleon Warren, Sr.; two sons, Otis and Kevin; sister, Rhonda Renee; brother, Roger Leon; three grandchildren, Isaac, Sharae and Kermontee; nephews, Charlie and Jerome; nieces, Shauna, Jaeonna and Jordan; his soul mate, Carolyn; God brother and sisters, William, Meryl, Elijah and Jewel Warren of Los Angeles, California; special friends, Valerie and Sonya. A host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and home care providers, Debbie and Rosemary.
